Great News!
Hannah went in a few days ago to have the drain removed and the pathology report was in earlier than expected….. All 11 nodes removed were clean!!! WHAT A RELIEF! So now, we can all get back to a normal life. It will be a while for a full recovery and for Hannah to get back on the softball field. We just wanted to let everyone know the good news as we are so relieved to finally see a light at the end of the tunnel.

I was diagnosed with the same cancer at 32 years old and I am currently in the middle of both chemo and radiation. My hair is growing back and all. Your daughter’s story is very captivating and I send her positive love and energy from Boston, MA. She WILL get through this!
My ife of 26 years has developed cervical cancer and like yourself is so very brave.
I am humbled by her courage as I am with yours
hang in there, glad you see your good news

congratulations! I will add you to my own prayer list for people fighting cancer. I myself was diagnosed with a glioblastoma multiforme lvl 4 brain tumor in mid august 2009 and have just completed my initial round of radiation and chemo after 3 brain surgeries to reduce the tumor mass(well one of the surgeries was to clean out an infection in my scalp scar after the first resection. the headaches that accompanied the tumor made me literrally beat my head against the wall in pain. i hope your struggle is over for good and you have no more pain from this horrible disease btw lookup the budwig diet which is a great natural and healthy diet that is easy to follow that will essentially starve any remaining cancer cells in your body and stop them from dividing.
god bless you and your family!!
Just read Nick Kristof’s column. Don’t give up. Praying for you.

Rebecca from Philly

Dear Hannah and Hannah’s family,
My family and I are beyond touched by your story (which I learned from Nicholas Kristof’s column in the NYT). Please keep fighting the fight. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Congratulations! I hope this is all behind you now and you’ll lead a long, healthy, happy life.
Please learn how to avoid getting lymphedema, which you are at risk for after having so many lymph glands removed.
Wishing you all the best! Many Blessings.
