Great News!
Hannah went in a few days ago to have the drain removed and the pathology report was in earlier than expected….. All 11 nodes removed were clean!!! WHAT A RELIEF! So now, we can all get back to a normal life. It will be a while for a full recovery and for Hannah to get back on the softball field. We just wanted to let everyone know the good news as we are so relieved to finally see a light at the end of the tunnel.

Dear Hannah and Family, I wish you strength, love, happingess and a long life together. I am 44 and I have had breast cancer twice. My daughter was born after I thought it was gone for good and before it came back again. I am sending you very quick healing thoughts and want you to know that you are brave and wonderful and helping so many others by sharing your story. Stay strong. Hannah — just heard about you in the New York Times. You are a brave girl. I am 51 and have survived leukemia just recently. When my hair grew back in, it was curly and I had always had straight hair. I enjoyed that for awhile and then my hair became like it was before. So many good wishes and prayers for you. Hugs! I have followed Hannah’s story from day one. My daughter and her played against each other when they were on the U10 team. She has been such an inspiration and so very brave. I just found out that I have breast cancer and I know Hannah bravery will get me through anything that I have to go through. I’m so glad to hear her news.
