To Hannah’s Loyal Supporters

Dearest Supporters of Hannah,

Due to the overwhelming increase of traffic and bandwidth usage with the recent media attention, we are slowly becoming unable to financially support the website. Some of you may have even fell victim to the downtime the site has experienced due to the overwhelming increase in traffic. It is as a last resort that we have decided to run a small number of site related advertisements to try to offset some of our hardware and bandwidth costs.

This was our last resort, as we could not bring ourselves to ask those of you who have given so much of your time and support already to support the site as well. This was our only cost free option to all you loyal followers and supporters, and we sincerely hope its not too invasive.

Thanks for you understanding,
Uncle Jordon

Feeling Better Today!

Hannah is feeling much better today. Still a little tired but that is to be expected. What a relief! When I got home from work today she came running up to me just blabbing like she hadn’t seen me in a month. We are still going to have her relax for the next day or two as she seems to get tired quickly. Her appetite is so-so, she ate a little roast and some taters tonight. If her appetite does not get much better we will have her drink Ensure or something along those lines. Tomorrow is closing ceremonies for one of the local softball leagues but we are probably going to keep Hannah home and either mom or dad will make an appearance. We do not want to risk her getting sick right now. Monday is the hat party where she will have her head shaved and so will dad (not that it will make that big of a difference). I don’t want her to be the only one having all of the fun. We still need to go wig shopping too.

The idea that someone posted about using a lint roller when her hair starts falling out is sheer GENIOUS. We are going to buy a bunch this weekend. They will also work for the dog and cat hair on the furniture. That’s all for now, we will update everybody on how the hat party goes.

Not A Great Day

As you all know, Hannah had her first chemo treatment yesterday. We were under the impression that it would take a few days, if at all that she would get ill. Well… She was up most of the night sick to her stomach. Mom tried giving her some anti-nausea medication, but that doesn’t help if you can’t keep anything down. We called the doctor to ask if it was normal for her to get so sick so fast. And they said everybody reacts differently. Hannah slept most of the day, ate a little soup and kept that down. When dad got home from work she said she wanted a grilled cheese sammich and a steak. So she got…. a grilled cheese sammich and a steak (I’m not gonna argue with her). She only ate about a third of it and she kept it down. She seems to be feeling better now, just tired.

Did anybody ever have weird dreams while on chemo?  She’s coming up with some off the wall stuff. Anyways…  We are hoping that she got sick so early maybe it won’t last as long. It is probably wishful thinking though. We will see how she is in the next few days. I am going to keep it short because we are spent and need to go to bed.

Good night
